Duo Kirpicheva-Dupont
Formed in 2012, the duo completed their Master studies under the guidance of concert pianist Itamar Golan at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de de Danse of Paris in 2015 with highest honours.
They are regular guests in major Belgian concert halls such as AMUZ (Antwerp), Palais des Beaux-Arts and Flagey (Brussels), have performed extensively in France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Denmark, and have made recordings for the Radio Suisse-Romande (CH), Musiq’3 (BE) and Radio Klara (BE).
Their repertoire reaches from Mozart to contemporary composers such as Peteris Vasks and Michel Lysight.
Olga Kirpicheva and Nicolas Dupont also like to explore lesser known pieces, and helped audiences re-discovering music by Karel Candael, Lucien Durosoir and Lily Boulanger. Furthermore, they have premiered works by Wilfried Westerlinck and Thierry Pécou.
The duo followed several masterclasses with amongst others Pierre Amoyal, Bruno Canino, Jose Ribera and the Quatuor Ebène.
In 2014, the duo Kirpicheva-Dupont was a finalist at the ‘Supernova’ competition (BE).
